http://webmonkey.com is a good site for php.

For music, I would use Flash. Now there is a <body> tag attribute (background-sound) or somthing, but I can't remember it offhand. The thing with using Flash is that you can attach facilities to stop or quieten music, whereas with body bg sounds you can't do either. Also, once played through, the background music will stop.

Music on sites is a tricky process. You shouldn't have "intrusive" music on your site really. By intrusive, I mean something that the user isn't warned about, and has no control over. Saying that though, there is no point in asking the user if he.she would like to listen to music. People will be listening to music whilst browsing the internet, and don't want it to be interupted. This is why you should use flash! :)

Hope this helps! :hehe:

To put music on the site first the music must be hosted somewhere on the internet... (Probably off-site is the best, & you are not hosting, because it is most hosts do not allow it) Then, you put the following code in (Edit variables with True or False)

Code:
<embed src="MUSIC/MOVE-LINK.COM" hidden="true" loop="true" autostart="true">
