How do I do this?

Hi,

My site is www.Unsigned.fm .

On the 'Bands/Gigs' page you can see I have links to bands profiles, which are not active yet.

This is what I want to do :

When a band registers with the site I want to send them a link to a template page. This page is where they can type their band biographies. Obviously each band will have a seperate page etc. http://unsigned.fm/bandbiography1 http://unsigned.fm/bandbiography2 , http://unsigned.fm/bandbiography3 etc etc

This is is easy but I want the band to be able to edit the template page themselves and then save it. How do I do this? Obviously they will need a log in name and password etc
Are there any programs/sites that provide this kind of service where different ppl can log onto 'their page' of the site and edit it?

The Joomla CMS has a component extension called Community Builder which lets you do this, I believe...

Hey evermore2000,

Creating your own php script to do that can be pretty hard, as there are so many security issues related to it. I'd search for a script on our good friend Google, or try the Joomla extension that TwistMyArm suggested.
