I have a domain .li for a year but I don't see any change of this extension develop. I want to know that is this ccTLD .li worthy to invest?

I like it but, with the existence of -ly.com, -ley.com, -li.com, and .ly, it's all such a blur. ;(

I think the sales above show that only the heaviest of keywords stand a chance ("Flights", "hotels", "shop", "insurance", "homes", etc.).

It is used by companies in Long Island. If Google enables geo targetting for this cctld then we can witness heavy growth. With the launch of gtlds Im guessing most cctlds will become geotargetable in few years as well. But can't really play the guessing game if you're shelling money so try to find end users and sell it if it isn't a common keyword.

Personally I own only F/l/o/w/e/r/s.li and I tried contacting many end users but florists are such giants in US that I don't think the mail is reaching to the right department. I don't mind renewing as it is only 15 bucks a year which according to me is a wise investment.

Li is a Chinese first and or surname so anyone with Li as a surname can have their first name. Li which would mean they would have first name and surname in a cctld and nothing else but the full stop in the middle of the cctld which would be worth a few quid to a person who either wanted such a domain and or who could afford it etc

Similar to the ones I have where the. Gold gtld means gold as in gold and silver but gold is also a person's surname etc
