I have little idea about .mobi names, but frankly, for 30,000 bucks, you could've got a very good .com.
Your only chance to go with this name is development. The resale value of .mobi is still quite low and I haven't seen any big ticket sales at the forums. A good .com would've been 10 times as easier to sell...

Go for development. Get this one to the top of the search engines. You paid an end user price for this name, so you better become the end user...its still an excellent name, a category killer.

also keep this in mind..if you're main idea is reselling, especially in the forums, then the best extension to sell is .com. Any other extension, even with strong keywords, don't fetch quite their deserved resale price.
