Thanks all you guys for your responses. Reps for all...
Tippy: I understand the .me hack perspective. But maybe they could also stand for something like this: HotGuy.me => "I'm a hot guy" (something like hot or not) OR 'hotguy for me' (dating) and HotGuys.me => 'hotguys for me' (gay porn/female erotica) or something like that. Or HotGuy.me could be a "how to" site giving tips for looking hot (for guys)... just some ideas picked up from the first page of google search for "hot guy"
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=hot+guy&btnG=Search
Ben42: Hey, if chicks don't dig humor they certainly dig hot guys!! Or the other way round... Either way, I win

More research needed on that "what chicks dig" issue
MicroGuy: I understand the hype aspect of new extensions. Yes, you are right about the Bob Parson's comment. The same thing happened to .tv I think, right? But I'm keeping my fingers crossed for .me (I think .tv was a niche, so was .mobi... .me is more general I feel)
johname: HotDude.me is still available. I might go for it too... or maybe not...
jcwebnet: Maybe we can give the benefit of doubt for lack of .me sites as it's new... But check out the google search for developed .me sites:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS296&q=site:.me&btnG=Search It shows 5,310,000 results (of course it doesn't mean there are that many sites already, or does it?) Also, "Hot Guy" and "Hot Guys" are keywords with 60,000 and 165,000 "exact" google searches/month while "Hot Guy Me" (for the .com you suggested) has zero.
