Initially I thought I'd have to hand it back. I tried several hacks and chanced what words may be available (got lucky I suppose) I registered it with another .uk. I got an email asking to verify myself - I didn't reply as I am currently out of the UK. However a day or 2 after the first email, I received another saying welcome to .uk blah blah blah
. I tried to do a link, but not allowed due to my account restrictions. Also unable to copy and paste the email too for some reason.
I am British by the way. Not sure if this name can go to non Brits . Good point you made. I actually don't own the .co.uk of the 2 names i registered. Honors is US spelling of Honours UK spelling. The other name is a hack that wouldn't work on a .co.uk. So I guess the names are not registered on .co.uk - hence the reason I was able to register them I suppose.
Which leads me to now state that UK citizens should only bid for this domain - as I cannot guarantee a non Brit will be allowed to own it.
