I want to know if there was ever a sale price on this? It was regged since 1992. I want to get an idea of what it's worth. I tried searching but found nothing. Thanks.

It is basically a top 10 .COM.

If the domain ever came on the market it would sell for many millions.

I think a domain like that is priceless and it's very hard to estimate the value.
Let's say that nothing less than 10M but maybe much more.

It wouldn't sell for 10M. Not just as a domain - maybe with a business around it it would. there are too many versions of the name: House.com, Houses.com, Home.com, Homes.com.

Something in the 2.5M to 5M range is reasonable. Something that is TRUELY a "one of a kind name" like Whitehouse.com could sell for $10M.

I think Homes.com is better than Home.com but ya never know

still Homes is second to Real Estate which I agree could fetch up above $10M as is even without a site.

Now as for Whitehouse, it doesn't have any investment options and would never sell for $10M because the only value is in the whitehouse building, nothing more. You need ask yourself, how would it be monetized to reap my investment back ... and sadly but true, Whitehouse.com as a domain name has little value outside of its quarters.

Whitehouse.com used to be a porn site. I'm not sure if it still is.

Homes.com would definitely clear 10 million. Home.com I am sure would sell for a lot and it would be overpriced, but less than 10 million (I'd wager 1-10m).
