I'm personally not seeing the value in this one... It's backwards, no? I think CoinHoldings is the term you would want.

It's registration fee value for me, just because I'm having trouble picturing it as a business name, and Google searching didn't add any insights.

You see top cryptocurrency like:
- Bitcoin
- Auroracoin
- LiteCoin
- Dogecoin
- HempCoin

So I was going for this trend. The word holdings could suggest transfer into the coin for extra security, or be a stablecoin that doesn't fluctuate so when you sell assets, you don't have to worry about a price drop in the exchange currency.

To my knowledge, it's worth more this way, but I'm still a bit new to this game.

I see where you're going... It's just that "holdings" is a noun, whereas the examples you listed use adjectives at the start (i.e. descriptive).

Holdings are what make up someone's investment portfolio, so the holdings are what need qualifying. It's not terribly intuitive as a descriptive word.

International holdings
Pension holdings
Mutual fund holdings
Share holdings

Has no value. Awkward to say because holdings makes no sense as the first word.

What about Holdings Company? Do you not feel the word company being used similarly to the word coin in this instance?

For example, this is a developed site:

https://coinholdingslimited.com/

Thank you, I appreciate this. A Holdings Company may be necessary for some entities, and their names tend to end with the word holdings, as opposed to start. However, you'll note, Holdings Company being the word used to describe the company. Perhaps a holdings coin will be necessary for some entitites

Holding company would be good. Holdings company is not the right tense.

You definately have an interesting point of view there, Brad. Would the following be incorrect:

- National Holdings Corporation
- Brand Bookie Holdings Company
- BB Holdings Inc

If they're correct, that's if, then I can certainly imagine a service offering a Holdings Coin.
And potentially being named Holdings Coin.

Or maybe that's an endowment effect, placing a higher than realistic value, simply because I own it ;)

You are not really parsing the terms correctly.

If my company was named say Smith Holdings. The company or corporation part is just the structure of the business.

It should be parsed like this "Smith Holdings" then "Company".
It is not "Smith" then "Holdings Company"

On the above examples -

"National Holdings" then "Corporation", not "National" then "Holdings Corporation"

Holding is the lead term, Holdings is the end term. This simply doesn't work as a standalone term.

You're right, but why not have the word Holdings stand alone, seperate from coin.

Holdings (being say commercial assets/cryptocurrency)
&
Coin (like company organization, Inc)

It's like

Property
&
Coin

Right?

It would be more like Properties Coin than Property.

I am not seeing it. Good luck with it.

Appreciate your insight, genuinely. Your logic is sound, no question. I guess I just had a feeling about it.

Thanks heaps
