Hoildayflying.com just curious to see what you guys thought. I also grabbed oldiesapp.com but I looked at sales on name bio and there wernt many sales with the word oldies. I thought it would be good if someone wanted to make a oldies application...i can handle the feedback bad or good..thanx for your time

Hoildayflying or holidayflying? I'll assume it's the latter. Sounds good for about 3 seconds, with 2 great keywords - but together they just don't add up. What kind of business/website could you build on it? Holiday flyers, by definition, don't fly that often. So, nothing attractive there.

Oldiesapp is worse. Why did you want to reg that name when you saw for yourself that there weren't many oldies names sold?

Holidayflying.com ..idk I guess i thought It could be used for holiday travel.. I bought oldiesapp cause I saw every other music group with the word app next to it taken so I figured oldies wasn't.. I also bought it before I checked ....i also bought audiotiger.com because i seen audiofish with bids over 20k and there wernt any animal names left I don't understand why someone would pay so much for audiofish

Rather than buy what other domainers are buying, buy what other domainers are selling. Or better, buy what end users need. Most domainers are losing money.

Audiofish has end users already using that name. There may well be other reasons for the high price, including existing traffic, backlinks and more. If you can't understand why the price is high, then it's not a good idea to buy imitations. (Also, many domains are sold for far more than they are worth. Those are one time events.)

Nothing wrong with audiotiger as a brand, except nobody is using it. That's the best of your 3 names by far, but it's a bit of a lottery ticket. You have to hope someone names their project audiotiger, and is willing to pay for the name. It may never happen, but you will have to renew the name each year.

End user is someone who would make an actual business run on the domain name, that is sold.

If you take the example of your domain name :holidayflying - Its something that is related to holidays and flights, you can contact the already running business in this niche and try selling them the name.

Is it better to call existing businesses out of the yellow pages with out a Web site or contact websites in the same field?

Any method which you can use is fine as long as you do not spam them nor make a mess with their privacy.
