History.co.in

Has this one a while now, and seems to get a bit of traffic, purely from typeins.

Any thoughts, appraisals or opinions would be most welcome.

Thanks

Alex

High $xx, IMHO.

Very nice catch. I was actually trying to reg history.in this weekend but already taken. Hang on to it. I'm sure a museum or archealogy company in India would pay for that domain in the future.

low to mid $xxxx imo.

Of course you'll have to find the right end user, but it's a real premium.

I've got physics.co.in myself, and I would not sell it for less than low $xxxx... that's what I suggest you for history.co.in.

Nice name. High $xx resale value. A high 3 figure to low 4 figure income to end user.

Firstly, thank you to everyone for their appraisals and thoughts about this domain. They are all most appreciated.

Secondly, out of nowhere, I have now been offered low-mid $XXX through a bid on Sedo. This domain has never attracted a bid before, and it seems very coincidental that I receive one now.

Also, never noticed this before, but it seems that Sedos "fee" for this domain, if I sell it through Sedo is a whopping 50% !!!!! ( Dont think I will be selling this one, if and when I decide to do, through Sedo )

Anyway, before I reply to the bid offer, I would appreciated any other opinions that you guys may have. I am in no rush at all to sell this domain, so I dont have to accept an offer if I dont feel the price is right.

For future value, can you guys see this one increasing over time ??

Thanks again

my advice is not to sell it for 4 or 5 years (yes i mean it) unless you get a low to Mid xx,xxx offer that you can't reject. don't sell this gem in temptation.

Try to develop it.

see who owns History.com

What about history.in ? How much does it worth ?

I don't own it but i'm curious to know compare to the .co.in

Comparison of .co.in and .in domains is a hot topic.

To be honest I've seen conflicting information favouring each over the other, so I couldn't say which I thought was enjoying more sucess at present. Both seem to be doing well so good luck to all!

As for history.co.in, I agree to hold onto it. Current value I think would not be more than about $xxxhigh, unless you found a strong buyer.

But the Indian Economy is growing fast and with that, the need for domains will grow too.
