yes but the name is pretty good and short. im thinking of buying it
Let me start by saying I have not had a good track record with .mobi.
The value of all extensions to a great degree is only an effect of the .com in use.
I had a look around and in this case my thinking/opinion is like this.
Hismobi.com (unreg) = $10. Hismobi.mobi = less than .com
His-e.com (is@auction) now= $1 His-e.mobi = less than .com, however-
His-e.com (if it sells for $1000) His-e.mobi = still less than .com but now worth more due to .com sale
His.com (owned by H.I.S. inc) =$? His.mobi = less than .com but owner is asking $2k based on the .com
So in your case you like the name, its short and the ext works (Herman Melville will be smiling). Still the .mobi asking price is not based on this at all. It is based on what the owner sees as the value of the .com
That is the price point you are up against, not the value of a .mobi!
In your favor you say "you like it" and that may make you an end user.
Despite what most most of us here would wish to believe, the end user has in fact the most power. They are the ones who make the deal. The next buyer will set the value of the name.
What is the chance of the .com holder using the .mobi? That may be away to approach the .mobi holder.
The only .mobi's I still own are when I have the .com+ all tld of the name.
Sorry I can not help you more.
Good luck.
