Yeah unless your name is Hillary Rachel Clinton (something like that) or you change it by deed-poll, it can be taken away from you.

Someone may give you xx or xxx amount, but then they will be in the same boat as you now and that is if Hillary Clinton had any interest in the domain, she'd get it no problem without paying a penny.

My offer of $5 was legit in your other thread and is a fair price. She'd get the name in a second under UDRP.

I think SuperHillary is generic enough to pass.

But in most non-exact UDRP cases I think the main factors are:
1- How close it related to a trademark (even unregistered) of the person in question. So in this case since noone refers to her as "Super Hillary" then I'd think you'd be safe.
2- How you're using the domain (like if you make a site about that person).

I'm not a UDRP lawyer though .. so can't say for sure. From what little I know it can also depend on the actual people on the panel. Been hearing about some really bad decisions on stuff like this lately ...

Honestly, as long as you don't use it against her I don't think anybody will care. I also think there's a strong argument to be made that national leaders are somewhat public domain.

But most importantly, I don't think the domain has any value .. the middle initial really drops the value .. add to that, that the only real value would be to be about her .. and again .. if it gets too big you find yourself in a UDRP risk.

Only value is to a hobbyist or Clinton follower who might want to put up a little fan site .. but I don't see anyone paying more than $100 even if they really wanted it for that. But then again people can get pretty crazy about politics .. so you never know .. you might get lucky finding some crazy end user who has no clue what UDRP even is .. lol

So why spend your $5? The OP paid about $8 to squat and you want to squat for less?
