I take it the highlight lasts as long as the post does?

The color lasts forever.. guaranteed not to fade or wear off, even under heavy use!

So it lasts forever, not 2 weeks.

Another suggestion

Make a choice of like 3 colors for 50
then two brighter colors for 100
and one even brighter (vibrant) for more


That way when every thread in the sales area has one, you can get a more expensive one and be more noticiable

Then again, the price of the highlights is likely going to go up, so maybe they won't be as widespread after all.

Yes, I believe you're right. It currently costs 50NP$, but RJ already said that this is just a promo to allow more people to get to try the feature. The number currently being tossed around is 100NP$, but if even then there are too many highlighted threads, then we can always increase it further (or decrease it if no one uses it).

You guys should highlight all the Stickys, I, like a lot of other people, have pretty much filtered out stickies so I don't even notice that there are threads there when I go to forums. So new members don't accidentally miss them you should highlight them to make them more noticable.

Maybe autofading of colors after a fixed time frame will solve this.
