How long does it take in general for High Value Domains from negotiation to completion of the deal?

Thanks

Or u could see it taking years. People camf even buy commercial properties that fast...

Domains in the millions aren't a simple purchase. It's probably like buying a commercial area..

They probably won't do it via undeveloped or afternic.

They'll want to meet the seller in person.

They'll probably want proof of ownership and so much more...

All these flights and business meetings... and going back and forth between CEO and board meetings...

Takes a year or more. No one's dropping millions in a few days. Otherwise they wouldn't ever have made those millions.

For price tag in millions, say $5M+ or more?

There is no answer to this, it really depends on the buyer and how motivated they are to complete the deal. Some can take a couple of weeks but it can take years if the buyer and seller cant agree on a price. Once the price is agreed on, then the process is usually pretty quick. Every case is different.

Sometimes price is agreed on quickly, the the actual work begins, and you hear about the layers of paperwork that might need to be done, CEO is on vacation, and has to sign off blah blah blah, like everyone said above every scenario is different, you have asked a question that has no answer. It is absurd to even try to answer it.

It is kind of like asking us to valuate a domain that is not named, just knowing it is valuable.
