What’s your name?
A: Mick

Where do you live?
A: South Australia

What’s your level of expertise?
novice, intermediate, expert, etc.
A: Expert in some fields but Novice in others.

How much experience do you have in the domain industry?
years, experience, etc.
A: 2 years

What would you like to specifically learn first?
how to buy a domain, domain history, best selling strategies, government policies, etc.
A: Best selling strategies

Are you currently working on any projects or ideas?
A: I'm developing a number of domains.

What are your short-term goals in the next year?
A: Reduce my domains down from 1000 to less than 300 if possible.

What are your long-term goals in the next 5 years?
A: To have sold over 50% of the domains i purchase and to develop at least 10% into business worthy brands.

What was your first domain you purchased?
A: rtwexperts.com

Why did you start investing in domains? Please tell us the story.
A: I feel into it by accident, I needed to build some new domains for an internal project and got hooked after buy apps. gtlds. Before i knew it i had over 200 domains and it just keep going. I then decided to sell a domain and made $1000 on a $10 investment and the rest they say is history / work in progress. :)

What domain tech do you most want evolved?
parking, marketplaces, news, analytics, registrars, etc.
A: parking, I'd like to see a return rather than just shit ads on my domains.

Do you have any predictions for coming trends?
A: I think the over saturation of the new domains is only going to help push the .com domain prices back up.

What do you enjoy most about domaining?
A: The search, for whatever reason, i just love searching and finding great domains among the expired lists. Many people drop domains for great reasons others just forget, so instead of paying through the nose for a domain i pick them up for cents.

Do you have any predictions for where the entire domain industry is going?
A: Too many new domain options will over saturate an already tough market.

What’s your funniest domain story?
A: I purchased thenaggingwife.com and thought my wife would see the funny side, wrong, but at least i got a quiet house for a week until she started speaking to me again.

What would you like to delegate most when you’re domaining?
parsing domains, monitoring auctions, data mining, etc.
A: Marketing / Brokerage. I'm having more fun buying domains than selling them, weird i guess.

What significant industry changes have affected you?
A: none as yet that i can pin point.
