HI all- enthusiastic noob

HI All,

An enthusiastic noob here. Got bitten by the bug last year with a sceptical purchase and the last couple of days I have jumped right back onto this bandwagon!

Just introducing myself but also to ask what your thoughts on strategy are. I am hoping to mitigate risk in what is a risky arena, whilst treating this as a hobby. Usual rules will apply- don't invest more than you can afford to lose etc.

But my principles will be focused on patience (sitting on domains I think will be worth something), and informed development (developing certain sites which have a catchy domain, whilst concious of keeping maintenance low and cheap and hoping for a good ROI resale).

Thumbs up. Thats one of the best tips [rule] in the book that is commonly followed by more experienced domainers.

As to advice, I am a newbie as well, I would suggest you go through the forum and use the search button for any doubts you have. There is almost always an answer written
