Hello All,

I'm not sure if I'm going to sell this one anytime soon, but thought I'd inquire into your opinions as to its value. The name is:

HHH.com

It is one of only 26 3-same-letter .coms in existence, and most are in the hands of big name end-users. The name averages about 300-400 uniques a day without any advertising and hardly any search engine placement.

Please appraise with what you think it's worth. I thank you all!

Thank you,
Zesty

i never thought of the wrestler, hes a rich guy im pretty sure he'll buy it, and I'm even more sure that you can develop it and make ALOT of money (alot more then you can sell it for) if you turn it into a fan site!

Hello All,

I really do appreciate all of your feedback and appraisals. This name gets me pretty good unsolicited offers all the time, though I just don't know if I want to sell this one anytime soon or not. I guess I'm really just trying to figure out about what the true value of this one is before I make any decisions.

If anyone else would like to offer their appraisal, I'd certainly be very appreciative of your sharing them!
Thank you all again for your thoughts!

Thank you,
Zesty

Some good advice I would recommend to you.

I mean this value of this domain will only get higher in the future so I'd say make a website and start racking in the cash or just park it and let the money roll in until you decide on selling this.

Good luck, High XX,XXX :) :tu:

Not necessarily, but I was being tongue in cheek in any case.. I realize 3 of the same letter domains are rare and potentially valuable because they're rare... but unless you have something that fits, why buy them? Personal or corporate, you still need to fit "HHH" or it's worthless to you.

I think ur views maybe wrong. Its more of a corporate name because of its brandability (just like mmm.com) .

It is better than most 3 letter domain to domainers, but as far as end users go you are limited to people using the three letter as an acroymn, I doubt substantially more value will be put on it by them due to the fact that it has 3 repeating letters. Would value it at 8-15k.

Nonsense. There are probably several cash rich corporations, law firms and financial firms that would love to get their hands on this name. I feel like I'm back in that other forum :hehe:

Great name. Minimum $15,000 in current market and much more to the right buyer, IMO.

It's a great name by today's standards. Not sure of the possible applications, but you should have no problem finding a buyer in the low-mid xx,xxx range.

maybe you should make an offer on it, the name was for sale for ages with an ask price of $10,000 (and heavily promoted) though never found that "cash rich corporation" that you speak of.

Just because the domain hasn't sold yet, doesn't mean that it won't eventually sell for a nice price. Domain speculation is just that: speculation.

Having working in corporate America for many years, I know that a large corporation can take months and even years to make a decision to spend $10,000 on a domain, especially if the business is already on the web and the purchase would be to improve their overall web profile.

Domain speculation isn't for everyone. Patience is an obvious virtue for those who choose to dive in.

It really depends on whether you want instant cash then sell faster and for less or want a nice total, then wait until the perfect buyer comes along.

Hello again,

Thank you all for your analysis. The name is somewhat developed and does pretty well in it's parked state...and based on parking revenue alone would certainly be worth well more than most of the lower end appraisals so far. I'm thinking more and more that this one is a long term hold for me. I keep asking myself, what might this one be worth 5, 10, 20 years from now?

I think the answer is that it's worth waiting to find out! And I guess I can keep enjoying the parking income in the meantime.

Thanks again to all!

:) Andrew

lets keep the thread on track, we now know the name was sold recently for at or under 10k, so to describe an appraisal of 8-13k as "nonsense" and then to continue arguing about it is pointless.

I will say I've already received 3 serious unsolicited offers above that amount (one is a standing offer quite a bit higher than that). This said, it certainly doesn't lessen my appreciation of your analysis and appraisal. Thanks snoop!

sounds like very nice offers zesty, can I ask if the standing offer is from a domainer or an enduser?

He's a reasonably well known domainer...He checks in with me often to try to convince me to sell, but I think I'm ready to hold for a while.

Thanks again to all and have a great night!

DO you make money from anything other than ADSENSE? Great Name $25,000 Is reasonable at the end of the day an enduser does not need type ins usually IF you are HHH Fianancial and a name gets too high priced they will just reg hhhfin or hhhfinancial so you have to have some reason. But Great Name AAA XXX and HHH I thinK the best of the bunch. Good Luck
