This guy and some others have been harassing me on one of my blog posts, I'm thinking about calling the police. What should I do?

Iam not sure of your laws,But what he said is offensive,But does not threaten you.I wouldn't think that post would get the police attention,No threat to do bodily harm or otherwise.

They left quite a few offensive posts on my blogpost but the whole leaving his number and wanting to "settle" things seemed to be a threat.

Note: they've been doing this for months and may be cyberstalking me.

I would perhaps contact thier IPs,Send them all the harassing messages ect.Him telling you to call him by leaving his phone number,Points more to him wanting to have a heated discussion over the phone,If he goes as far to say he will come to your house,Then getting the police involved would be in order.I would take thier remarks with a grain of salt,They seem more wanting to harass you more than anything.I wouldn't pay them any mind,If they continue,Iam sure one will cross the line and make threat that will warrant you to get the police involved and stop it completly,These people seem to know the fine line of not making a direct threat to you that involves doing bodily harm,or property damage.In a nut shell,I would completly ignore them.They are being bullies.

Lol, wow. I've never had a bully before. These pricks are really annoying mostly and I don't even know who or what they look like in real life. I've contacted their ISPs already and I'm going to follow your advice and wait for them to cross the line.

Update: the Shaw autoresponder told me to contact the local authorities or my lawyer instead. I'm hoping they reply to it anyway.

I would:

• delete (hide if possible) the comments in question (but keep a record of course)
• not react in any way
• contact ISP and/or police if needed

Most possibly they just want to have some "fun". If you ignore them, they will loose interest.

You'll find jerk-offs like this all over the net. Contacting their ISP's was a good start. Like one guy suggested, record EVERY message posted to you. The one you posted on here doesn't seem to life treatening. Just sounds like a jackass that like's to talk tough over the internet. He's either 5'1 and 120lbs without and ounce of muscle or 6'2" 450lbs and cant move his fat ass off the chair. Typically online bully's are cowards face to face and feel better cyber-trash talking. I'm not sure if that's his real phone # he posted, but you should try and give it a call, and find out. If it is real, then that is a good piece of evidence to record if he ever does become 'life-threatening'...they can easily get that guy, tracking his #. What a dueche this guy must be. What did you do to provoke him?

One point that should be mentioned.. I highly doubt anyone would be stupid enough to post their real phone number in a post like that.. could be just another part of their pranking, getting you to call or report a number that isn't even theirs.

His friend was banned from our forums quite a long time ago and they followed suit. The number does seem legitimate as I revere lookuped it and found this guys address matching his parents' name.

I never said anything negative nor offensive against them yet they persisted to pester me over the last few months.

To be honest, he sounds like he is picked on in school, and he takes it out on people online cause he can feel powerful
