Help with optimization please

i have a domain mitzi.org thats parked with sedo, i get around 25 uniques a day but no clicks.

i dont know what keywords to optimize for as its a female name but i dont know what the visitors are looking for.

any help would be much appreciated.

Mitzi Gaynor was a actress and singer in the 50's and early sixties. Movies like anything goes, and other musicals. So I'd try musicals

how long does sedo take to start showing relevant ads becauce for some reason ive changed it and its showing ads about boats

How do you guys figure out where the traffic to someone else's site is coming from?

Simply do a search on google. Use the word you are using i.e. mitzi, then do a search for "mitzi" like that. Both ways will give you a little bit of an idea of what people might be looking for.

Searching with just the word without the ""around it is more of a broad search whereas searching with the "" gives more specific results for your search term.

I actually only did a broad search because the name rang a bell (no...I'm not that old). Keynes did a more specific search to come up with his result by searching "mitzi".

Try both and see how it goes.

Sorry I misunderstood. I know google will give you an idea of what people might be looking for. I thought you were referring to the actual searches that were leading to the OPs pages.

Stewmath you can use google analytics to find out exactly what your visitors are searching for. Then you can optimize for the exact keywords they're using.

Ok you say you parked it right? so it must be under the control of the company which you used to park it. I dont think much optimization is possible for a parked domain. However try providing links on other related sites and forums so people interested would come to your site and when they dont find enough information on your site they will follow the links on your website

Not sure if sedo will like that so I would check Sedo parking rules.

Does optimizing the keywords bring more traffic to a parked page? I thought it just increased the CTR.
