Help with layout please

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do the layout on my site:
http://ci-studios.com/home.htm

I want to have frames so that the title and menu don't reload every time someone navigates to a new section. I was hoping to get away with not having scrollbars, because they mess up the look (the blue bars are spanning multiple frames and don't line up when I allow scrollbars).

I considered having a really simple flash file loading in the main frame for each category (containing all of the content for each category). Then I could have a scrollbar without ruining the frame layout. The problem there is that I don't know of a way to have the flash file resize for different screen resolutions. So, if I made the flash file fit perfectly in the main frame for people at 1024x768, then it would look funny at higher resolutions.

Or, should I get over not wanting the menu and title reload whenever someone navigates to a different section, and just use tables for the layout?

Is there another option I'm not thinking of?? (Sorry, I'm new to all of this).

Thank you!

Forget frames, they are not SEO compatible and browser enemies.
Secundly, draw your site in tables. The table should be 760px width so it fits all resolutions. It's the same if you do it in Flash.

- write welcome with usual text, graphics isn't needed
- change the font into Verdaa or Arial, this font is bad
- if you like mess, the mess it more up, but if you want clean desgin then use some aligment

Ok, thanks for the reply. My reason for frames was that I didn't want the menu and logo to reload every time someone navigates to a new category. There are many different music categories that the viewer will be clicking on. It just seems smoother having the category load in the main frame. Oh well, I'll consider ditching the frames and just using a table.

What do you mean by 'use some alignment'? Is the text not aligned?

If you have made a saved both your menu and header well, loading them each time shouldn't be a problem, besides people's internet connections are alot faster these days.

You should really give up on the frames as they will drag you down when it comes to SEO
