Help with host that doesn't respond

[I'm not really sure if this is the right place to post this]

Hi guys I need some help in contacting Hagio Hosts because they are not responding to any of my support tickets. The thing is they were my first host and I didn't know better so I brought a domain from them, the problem is that because of bad customer service I have changed hosts but my domain remains with them.

When I renewed my domain from them, the status was still marked as expired even though i renewed it and the next renewal date was 05/02/2010. I didn't really care about it at that time because i thought it was just an error. However I recently changed hosting company and I need to manually change the name server but I can't because it is marked as a expired domain.

I've been trying to contact for ages and they don't respond to any of my support tickets.

Please can someone help me :(

See if they have a contact phone number and try calling them. See if they have a mailing address and write them a letter. You just have to try all methods of communication and of they still don't respond, you may have the grounds to take some legal action (but don't take my word on that part).

Run a whois on their domain name and see if a phone number comes up. On a side note, if your host ignores you, you should probably find a new host

Chances are that the company is a reseller, contact the provider and see if you can work with them. I know in some cases they'll work with you provided you can prove who you are and that they cannot get the company to move.

They say inc so you mite want to Try the BBB in us however complience is optional and it may take a few months but if worst comes to worst file a complaint. You may want to file a chargeback on your credit card or thru paypal.

If your information is in your domains whois information, you could submit a domain transfer at another registrar, and the auth code could be sent to your email - it depends where your domain was registered.

What you need is rebew domain name and then you need to transfer that to the new place
That is the order and you need to follow it
In this situation nothing can be done

The problem of OP is that he has paid for the domain renewal and it is not renewed by his previous host, as per the informations provided by him.

Well IMHO I belive its more important to get the domain safe then to risk lossing it over 10$ renewal.

That the main reason why i don't host with anyone who does not have live tech support.
Only email support is bad.
Lesson learned from DreamHost aka dyinghost or deadhost---they do not respond to my emails.
