Help Positioning Div tags

I am creating a new website for my photography business and I am having trouble getting it to look the way I want as I am using elements I am not familiar with such as DIV tags and a flash menu bar and having a fixed size page. Click HERE to view the website I need help with. I am trying from scratch to fix some major problems my previous version had. CLICK HERE to view the old version i created. I have a fixed size container set to 1000 x 600 px. I want to position a header at the top of the container and a flash menu just under the header at the far left of the page. to the right of the page I would like to put the content: on the main page a flash slide show, a form, and some seo text at the bottom of the page. In the new retry attempt I cannot get the flash slide show to a fixed position within the contained area without screwing up the flash menu. Any help is greatly appreciated!
