Hey guys I don't know if this will make sense to you or not.. but I need my forum to be at public_html/ instead of say public_html/stuff/.

Get it? How do I make it so when I just go to www.mydomain.com it will be the forum instead of www.mydomain.com/stuff/.?

Do I need to upload it to the public_html/ folder manually?

Thanks :)

I believe you'll have to reupload it mannually, due to the data the database holds, but I'm really not sure.

Can't you ask your host, I'm sure they'd be able to do it for you, aswell as answer your question. :)

Thanks much Darren, but I finally realized how to do it

You do have to upload it manually to the server.. I forgot that you had to even though I had already done it on a few other domains :p

Yeah, or you could write a script that will forward anyone who visits your site to your forum directory automatically.

What are you using to install it? Every time I've put Invision on a site I've had to upload it manually anyways.

Yeah, or you could write a script that will forward anyone who visits your site to your forum directory automatically.
I would also take that route, except if you're using cPanel, make sure it's a 'temporary' redirect, otherwise it won't work.
