I received an email from someone at 163.com today and the email said this,
"Hi, I'm interested in your domains listed for sale in your parking service. Please let me know your price, could you send a mail to me appended a list with your prices? Thanks."

I was wondering if this looks all legitimate?
I see 163.com are a big company however I thought it was odd that no domain in particular was mentioned.

Any help is much appreciated thanks.

I would check the e-mail header too to find out more about the sender.
This way I identified a scammer.

I think 163.com is, like yahoo and hotmail, a free email account provider. Anyone can create an account there.

I think MeanerDomainer means that merely yahoo, hotmail or 163 email account should not be enough for someone to believe that the inquiry is legitimate.

:bingo:

Craig, You may want to remove the email address before it gets picked up.

I've seen quite a few decent domains with there whois pointing to @163.com

What ever you do; use an escrow service such as sedo escrow when the buyer is unknown.

Good Luck
