I was foolish and clicked link. It looks genuine... I checked headers and it was fake..

Please help me, what should i do now?

Edit: I have changed my password, it fills the whole bar and it says "strong". It is 14-18 characters long, with a random assortment of letters, capital letters and numbers.

it would have asked you to login on that fake page. did u enter ur old password there by any chance?

If No, then theres nothing to worry.

Also check if ur domains are safe in ur registrar.

If you did, change this password and all other accounts where u use this password (like forums, paypal etc). That should do it

The fact i wasn't hacked when i used that password for over 2 years (may 2005-sep 2007) is a miracle.

if you didn't log into it or download anything theres nothing to worry about...

are you usually already logged into gmail automatically? I would advise you at least change your password.

If your computer starts running slower or you get pop up ads even though you have a pop-up blocker ect.. sometimes when you click bad links like that you can get various adware, spyware ect. type viruses like virtumod, ezulaAd, WebBuying, ect...Hopefully that does not happen, but if it does, you'll need some type of anitvirus cleaner, then all that should stop. Shouldn't be no real biggie

1. My computer is the same speed as before.
2. I did a virus scan, nothing
3. I did a spyware scan, found 1 entry.
4. I changed my password to something ultra strong.
