Hello all,

Im trying to transfer a bunch of 3 letter .biz domains from a godaddy reseller to godaddy as the reseller looks a bit dodgy ;)

Anyway, ive made the payment ant enter the ID and security code to transfer the domains, but now its asking for auth codes for all the domains?

What is an auth code, and where do i get one... I need to do this asap as one of the domains will be expiring very soon.

Thankyou all!!!

Log into the GoDaddy reseller, click on the domain you're transferring away, then look under "Domain Details" to the right for the option that says "Auth Info Code: (sent by email) Send Email" and click that.

You need auth code for .info, .biz, .org, and .us

How old are the domains? Have they been registered, modified or moved from one account to another in the past 60 days?

They have been pushed from an account at the godaddy reseller to another account at the godaddy registrar, and i think thats all...

The domains are quite old, theve all been regd for at least 10 months afaik.
Thanks.

Ok, that's the problem.

GoDaddy has a rule regarding any changes made to domains. If the domain(s) have been pushed from one account to another (or even just had the contacts updated) you can't move them for 60 days. This is in addition to, and on top of the standard 60 day after registration rule. There are a few older threads about this. It can be frustrating to say the least.

Sorry I don't have better news, but you need to wait 60 days from the last modifications.
