It sounds like the domain is trying to get away with the 2 "tt"s together in case of weighttips.com. The word Weighty is hard to pronounce since it isn't used by itself much; unlike the noun version Weight

Things to watch for:
- Google suggests a spelling change to weight tips when searching -- not good for your site
- No Net/Orgs registrations, meaning people may not want it
- Weighty (at least in Canada) is used more to supplement another word like "Weighty Issue". By itself, it does not stand, and the noun version makes more sense - "WeightIssues" or "Weight-Tips".

I recommend in the future to find something like NOUN+(HOT WORD) like Weightclick.com, WeightEngage.com WeightOver.com etc. :)

Thanks for the insight, MangoNames. I think the weighttips version wasn't available when registering the name. Guess I have wasted my reg money on this one.

By the way, I typed in "weighty tips" on Google now and saw results relating to weight loss tips, without any correction suggestion. Thanks for the appraisal all the same.

Weighty generally means serious and / or unpleasant.
It isn't a popular search term.
It is mildly brandable.
$RegFee to high $xx (if lucky).

Thanks, Iconic. I actually took weighty as meaning important in this case. Which, to me, seems to make the name fitting for a weight loss or general tips site.

At least, it's good news that I could still manage to recoup my reg. fee. ;D
