Well, there aren't a lot of sales in Italy, but the market is still growing i think. Lately I've noticed an increase of sales with english words, like cool.it, host.it, service.it, tribe.it...
For new gtlds like .online all the good keywords in italian are gone and there are some active sites,
but no sale for now
