Hello Everybody! I am a new member! Just joined now a few blinks of eyes ago. The world of domain started atracting me when I heard of Insure being sold at some whopping price a figure that looks several light years away rfom what I am earning now. And I decided ok let me go and check and did a little research. Now people are telling me that there is nothing to learn before entering domain maket, just buy at low and sell at high, no technicalities to learn. But I doubt I think that there are certainly some technical/tutorial/knowledgebank to go through before starting out in this biz. Please suggest some if you know.
BTW I am Balaram and just checked that I have spoken a lot more than what I was supposed to (in this particular room) Pardon, please

Welcome! What you have heard isn't exactly true, there are strategies and knowledge that you will have to acquire to be the effective and profitable in this venture. Spend some time here and read over the forums, make a few educated buys, and you will be heading in the right direction.

@DomainVP I am sure that I will learn a lot in your kind guidance. There are many temptations and many names I have gone thru from $10 to $100 (I havent gone above) but haven't chosen yet as I am very new.

Basics:
Follow sales history and see what domains are selling and for how much
Don't buy TM domains
Stick with .com until you make enough and then move on to other extensions.

@silentg yes i went thru but there was a confusion that the similar names are also selling at differnet (very different Prices) like discountand saleand coupon with dot com extensions but still a huge difference of prices so it makes patern finding a bit difficult
