Hi all!

I'm am a brand spanking newbie to the domain world, but very keen to learn more (with modest hopes of generating a little extra income from it).

Very excited to find this free forum. Seems like there are a lot of informed, involved folks on here.

Being that I'm a newbie, I naturally jumped into domains head-first without doing any research. The results?

• I've purchased 5 soon-to-expire domains from NameJet
• I've registered 6 other of my own domains
• One of them I have begun developing into a site, with the hopes of building some traffic, monetizing it, and eventually selling it.

After doing some more research and work over the last couple weeks, I expect that most or all of my names are likely crap, and my development work will be a long, hard, uphill battle.

If any experienced domainers would be interested in hearing some details, I'd love to get some advice, ask some questions, and essentially just figure out how best to invest my time/money.
