Hello, I'm New.

[YairDD]

Hey NamePros,

I'm new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself.

I started with purchasing & selling domains around 2 years ago but I did it only with local TLD's. ( co.il )

I decided to join the big boys and I just started with doing this only with COM/NET/ORG and I heard this is the best place to be, so here I am.

Hope you'll have a great weekend

Hello @YairDD .. and Welcome to NamePros!

I'm curious to know how it went with the .il's? Did you have any success with them? What's the Israeli domain market like?

Best of luck to you in the wonderful world of domains!

I would like to add my welcome @YairDD! So much expertise represented in this vibrant and sharing community. We welcome the ways you will add to our community, in addition to learning from it, as we each bring relevant real world experience.

You have undoubtedly found this, but NPs have a nice compilation of links here for those starting out in domaining: https://www.namepros.com/threads/popular-beginner-discussions.844937/

Welcome,

my advice:
focus on .com only,
.net lost a lot of traction with new gtlds,
and .org only make sense for a few niches

my 2 cents

Hello @YairDD .. and Welcome to NamePros!

There is a huge community in Israel for selling & buying domains and also for consulting and sharing tips.
When I'm saying huge I'm talking about around 1500 people.

My biggest il's sale was 300$ and it cost me reg-fee. I know some people that sold an il domain for over $1,000, but it's pretty hard. way harder than selling com/net/org.

A lot of people from the Israeli community have a bunch of COM's that costs a lot and it gave me a motivation to start it too.

Welcome YardDD, from another forum newbie.

Shalom!

Thank you and good luck to you too.

Thanks everyone!
