Hi Everyone. I am from Rhode Island (in the USA, for those who don't know where "Little Rhody" is) and I just started domaining in early July. I realize I have a LOT more learning to do in this business and NamePros seemed like a great place to do just that so here I am.
I got into the business to make some extra money online in my spare time. Who knows? If it really takes off, it would be great if the missus can cut back on her 4 nights a week waitressing job. She is hopeful it will allow her to do that someday!
In the 3 months or so I have been domaining I have amassed over 200 domain names. :o Some bad. Some hopefully good. However at this moment in time I have slowed down my purchases since my startup budget has taken a big dent by now.
Parking my sites has produced some money trickling in but it doesn't seem fast enough so next I am looking to start selling a few of my sites to see if I can recoup some of my initial investment.
My feeling is that if I can sell just one site at a decent profit, I can make it in this business. That's all I want to see at this point, some ROI. I will breathe a big sigh of relief after that. :tu: I would imagine a lot of people wanted that kind of confirmation when they first started out. Right?
