Hi,
Hope you all are having a fine day!

I'm new to NamePros and domaining though I've been into web design and development for more than 11 years. I look forward to getting up to speed with your help :)

First Question: I posted my first thread - a list of domains for sale - in the "Make Offer" section a few hours ago. However I now find that my thread has been closed. WHY?? Did I do something that's not allowed? Confused....

warmest regards,

Hi Gemstar,

Thanks for your note - I'll be sure to ask you if I encounter any issues. Actually there is one thing I wanted to clarify, yesterday I got a PM warning when I replied to a Wanted Ad (not knowing that the author had made changes to his original requirements post) with the original post being open overnight. I think you should have an automatic refresh script in place so this can be prevented. Anyhow that "tiny shocker" ensured that I would probably refresh the pages everytime henceforth :) How do you determine if the post is spam? Can't someone misinterpret/misread the brief once in a while?

regards,
Anita...

Hi Briguy!

@Michelle, @Gemstar:
I just wanted to make a small suggestion - maybe you could introduce a wanted section seperate for end-use buyers? Most of the offers and wanted posts seem to be from resellers looking for a good bargain. A couple of things this could help in:
1) Save time for users looking to sell their domains for end-user prices.
2) Cut out a lot of confusion leading to the spams.
3) You could identify newbie end-user buyers and give them special help, advice, etc. They probably don't know much about domains/branding so could benefit from some handholding.

If not that you could probably introduce price ranges as categories??

regards,
Anita...
