Hello Everyone

[Senex]

Just joined, new to the domain world, looking to get a sense of some aspects. Possible domain names keep popping in to my head. Have decided to try to learn a little of what can make a domain useful, and give it value.

I'll get a bit oriented and then probably ask some basic questions - and parade my happy ignorance!

Hi there @Senex .. and Welcome to NamePros!

Ignorance might be bliss for some things .. lol .. but not in the world of domains. Definitely inform yourself on domain traits that lead to increased chances of sales. Lots of potential pitfalls in the world of domaining. Don't be too discouraged though .. once you absorb a lot of initial information it becomes easier to understand what makes a good domain and what doesn't .. hopefully you'll get it before spending too much!

Best of luck going forward!
