Hello everyone,

Just wanted to pop in an introduce myself. I've been a long time visitor to the site, but have never actually created an account.

I just launched a new domaining tool call Domain Scout, so figured now's a good time to get engaged with the community, as I'd like to get feedback from fellow domainers. Would love if you could take a look and let me know what you think -- website is: domainscout.app [Not allowed to post a link so you'll have to copy paste it]

In particular, check out the expired domain search. It pulls domains from Snapnames, Pool and NameJet, and pre-indexes everything (looking for # of words, # of characters, etc). So for example, you can quickly find 1 or 2 word expired domains... and it doesn't try to show you any premium domains or auctions -- if it's available then it's available for registration. I find it a very powerful tool, so check that one out.

Cheers,
Brad.

Hello and welcome to NP. Your tool is already available online and for free, so I don't see why domainers should pay for it, unless it has something new/different to offer.

Great question... exactly the feedback I'm looking for. The biggest difference with the Expired Domain search is that it provides clean results -- it's not littered with backorders, auctions or premium domains. If it shows as available, then it's available for registration. It also pre-indexes all domain names to pull out keywords -- so if you search for a specific keyword and put a "2" in the # of words input... you're going to see 2 word domains that have your keyword.

I feel It's just a better search experience, and I believe people will love it when they discover it.

Hello @Brad Pineau .. and welcome to NamePros from a fellow Canadian (Montreal)

I have my own "system" of finding names I like so I probably am not your ideal target for your tool .. that being said .. I wish you the best of luck with it all the same .. be warned that most domainers seem to be averse to paying for tools.

Beyond that, are you also a domainer? If so, how's that been going?
