.tv HBO2.TV and STARBLOG.TV

Please appraise hbo2.tv (not a TD) and starblog.tv. I am planning to develop them in the near future.

HBO2.tv could get you some serious problems or could bring you a few hundred or a few thousand dollars..... Depending on how HBO feels...

Listen to me- HBO2 (There is a real HBO2) is owned by HBO and is trademarked. Why come here asking for people to give you information when you decide what we tell you simply isn't correct? I've been in the domain business since 1998 (when domains like a .com ran for $70+ per year)

My suggestion is to drop the domain or make it into a HBO related fan site but not before asking HBO for permission.

Do you have any proof or further information on this. Because when I go to uspto.gov and seach for HBO2, guess what, nothing comes up. While I realize there are other trademark offices in the rest of the world, I would love to see some more information from you.

To the original poster: Yes, HBO2 exists and operated by HBO while they dont have the trademark on HBO2, they do have on HBO. SO they can come on to you as 900Lb gorrilla.

HBO Owns HBO2 and thus is awarded the Trademark for it- Anyone who uses HBO in their domain could be held liable for Trademark Infringement and especially HBO2.tv - It doesn't need to be trademarked in the traditional sense..IMHO
