No. I slash prices to get rid of unwanted inventory. It's working well. But I sometimes wonder why some sell, and some better ones drop

It is a weird feeling when you discount. I used to discount and post in forums to reduce my portfolio. Amazing how many get looked over at $50 or less that I go on to sell for high XXX to low XXXX

Those that do sell at a discount, I end up feeling like I gave them away.

I've learned to get very picky when I add new names and mentally commit to 20 years of renewals when I buy it. I now drop only maybe 1% of my portfolio each year. Almost every one of those get picked up in auction or on the drop.

You should track your dropped and sold domains. I run the list once in a while to see what is taken even on my sold domains. I have actually sold the same domain more than once by re-registering it when the buyer lets it drop. Amazing how many people let a name drop that they paid XXX or XXXX for.
