Well why the heck not!?
Hello,
My name is Stan and I apologize for the corny title, but my partner and I are trying to build up some more traffic to Nerdpoint & [URL="http://talktutorials.com]TalkTutorials[/URL], so we cordially invite all of you to both of the forums.
A little about each site.
Nerdpoint:
Nerdpoint is a discussion forum for those of you who accept that computers and video games and all other gadgets can be a tad nerdy at times. Nerdpoint was originally created by Anthony Bullock, successful owner of http://microvisuals.com, and took of quickly. Those who know anthony know that most everything he touches becomes popular. After acquiring the site Digit and I have added several categories for discussion and a new little gimmik. When a user reaches 1,000 posts they will recieve a free t-shirt with one of the 3 taglines on our site.
TalkTutorials:
Brand new forum which unfortunately uses a pre-made template. Digit and I are in the process of re-designing this, and it should be changed soon so, it shouldn't be long before we have our own unique style. The forum is basically what it says it is... people post tutorials, and others can post what they have created from it, or ask questions if something is unclear. It is a good way to ask how to achieve a desired task as well, since sometimes it can be hard to find the right tutorial. After we have a good size list we will be composing a seperate page to list all of the completed quality tutorials. Be sure to check out our 3 launch contests with a total of $150.00 to give away!
Advertising is cheap too on both sites!
Nerdpoint:
$15.00 for a 468x60 banner for 30 days, sitewide max of 5 (4 remaining)
$3.00 for a textlink for 30 days.
stats for the site can be viewed at: http://nerdpoint.com/stats/npstats.bmp
We have yet to add this past weeks stats since we got the site, but to anyone interested we can provide another ss showing an average of around 90 uniques per day and brining our total for the month to near 2,000!

Mint has yet to be imlpemented but awstats can be shown upon request.
