Has Enom been stung?

Browsing through the auctions at enom I have just noticed that over 275 domains have today entered public auction.

So thats nearly 300 names they won a week ago that were only bid on once at $10 that have not been paid for. Kinda knocks a hole in the profits don't you think?

It made me wonder whether the other drop catchers might open enom accounts & bid on crappy names to divert enoms resources from the top catches.

At this rate enom will own more domains than their customers before much longer!

enom does not catch all of club drop's catches. Just like pool doesnt catch all thiers etc.. Of course every company suffers expenses somewhere but enom has really diversified and has set themself apart from the average registrar.

That would be a criminal offense, and not something the large dropcatchers would attempt, I think.

Dropcatching is a service that registers domains of your choice as soon as they become available. While most domains that expire can be easily re-registered by hand, some expiring domains have a lot of people competing to re-register them. For such high-competition names, manual registration is virtually impossible, as companies like Pool, eNom, Namewinner, and Snapnames have very fast automated procedures for dropcatching.
