And they should, they are nothing more than parasites.

I think that G is going to take it further than squatters because of this action. This whole problem is really starting to gain momentum..... and it really is a problem for G and Y.

I think they are going to cut out expired traffic and generics from the G index too....... meaning all parked domains that are listed will be removed 100%, or close to it.

Think about it ..... if they do that then they have to pay out much less to domainers and at the same time stick it to Yahoo, while taking care of these nasty lawsuits. It's a total win for them. Domainers make up about 10% of Yahoo's traffic, only about 3% of Google's...... by removing these sites from Google Yahoo will feel the pain.

Only domains with good, natural direct navigation will pull through...... vast portfolios of expired traffic will begin to fall like dead flies.

I take it we're referring to cybersquatters who register domain names bearing
trademarks? Or...are we referring to something else?

(Ah well, people believe whatever they conveniently want to believe, even if
certain "facts" indicate otherwise...)

it's impossible, to get rid of them we need to get rid of both sides the tm buyers and sellers.

Yes.....and that list is not as bad as some. There are some generics there.

If we can get rid of the blatant TM squatters then maybe we can start making some real money again.

To be clear, what's happening here is that there is a lawsuit against Google for allowing AdSense to be placed on typosquatted domains, i.e. McDnalds dot com

ripley.

Where does the parking money come from?
Google is making money off the ADwords advertisers, not parking.

It is going to take a real effort by Google to police this if that is what they decide to do.
