I've been tracking a domain that dropped today.
I succesfully registered with another domain through GoDaddy,
After a couple of minutes I received this notice by e-mail:

The following domain name has failed to be registered:

XXXXXXXXXXXXX.COM

Error: pendsetup: (540) Attribute value not unique;

We will evaluate this error and retry the registration if appropriate.

If we are unable to successfully register the domain name, your account will be credited accordingly. Please allow one business day
for the refund to be processed.


What does it mean????
Somebody registered a few seconds before me???

absolutely... you're trying to beat thoes snapping agents? Pool, NW, Dropwiz, GD, CD, name them all :lol: ... Don't worry... they will refund your CC.

Heh, yeah definately one of the other agents must have snapped the domain before GoDaddy was able too.

Is the name showing available to register at other registrars? enom for instance?

I did a search at Network Solutions and it appears that the domain unavailable.

I've look at godaddy for the domain I was trying to get and it appears registered but someone else.
He got it a few seconds before me for sure, I was testing almost every minute to grab it.

Now I'll wait for Godaddy for the refund,
Anyway today was a good "fishing" day
