Grrrr! Repeating cell

hey, im working on a new site layout, and im having a few problems, i have menubars on the left and right of the main content box, and if possible i only want one cell on each side to stretch, is there a way for me to select which cells stretch and which stay as they are? because for the title bars of the menu its repeating the background

First, please refrain from using offensive language in your posts. Second, yes, there are ways to accomplish what you're asking. I'd need to see the page you're having trouble with, or at least post the code you're using.

thats how to do it in css

Would print out your background from css, and will not repeat.
