A friend of mine just picked GroupCounseling.com, and he wanted an idea of what it was worth. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It's a strong phrase combo. The domain has been continuously regged since 2001 which is good and has only one transfer on record.

SERP is reasonable at about 800k, and net, org are taken. Advertising estimates are weak without traffic or stats. This is one of the lower ranked premier counseling combos. Higher search stats exist for Marriage Counseling or Family Counseling, which are worth upwards of 150k per domain. No stats exist for this domain so it is hard to tell if any type-in traffic is available. The most important comment I can make is that the domain greatly needs development.

As a raw name its value to resale is in the low $x,xxx range. Developed and backlinked/ranked with PPC it will start earning money and be worth high $x,xxx to low $xx,xxx.

Not sure what your friend might have paid but it's a nice phrase with great potential.
