age does not guarantee quality
but quality is more often than not aged.

With an age of only 1 month, the domain name could have been a dropped/expired domain that has some history, or it was just hand registered for the first time a month ago. Try and do some research and see if the domain name was used before. But in the end, if you think the domain name is valuable, then if it is at a good price you should buy it. If it is your name that you just registered and you are asking us if it is valuable based on age only, it probably is not.

I agree with @alcy above. The age of a domain doesn't necessarily bestow any value on a domain. However the quality of a domain does bestow a value on a domain. Value doesn't equate to age. A quality domain probably has value whether or not it has any age. Which is untrue (mostly) for poor quality domains of any age.

Age doesn't matter but if some domain has age means registrar feels domain is good or qualitative thats why it was registered long back.. Though not applicable to all aged domains...

If it was an expired name, then it would probably have kept its age. If it dropped, then it means two things - the previous owner not longer wanted the name, and neither did the expired list miners. Letting a name expire is not an indication of low quality, there can be numerous reasons for this. The name dropping could mean it is not so good. Registrars often retain premium names, and there are numerous domainers mining the expired lists. You will need to question the reasons for the name falling through both of those nets.

The best "great" .coms were taken years ago.

I recently sold a name on namejet for $1500 which was only 2 months old. However it was previously regged before and was caught by dropcatch.
