The more I look at this domain, the more I like it. If it’s possible to fall in love with a domain, this is one of those cases. To me, AnimationGPT makes sense as a project name. Besides, the GPT+keyword pattern is already established - BloombergGPT, EinsteinGPT, ChatGPT.
Today, every animation AI is driven by language: prompts, instructions, dialogue, and context. And GPT is the most natural interface for that. GPT not only knows how to interpret the command "draw a green circle" for any AI model. You can say "create a picturesque house in the woods" or "animate an ancient Aztec warrior looking at a pyramid," and GPT knows what you mean and can explain it to any AI that knows how to draw and create animation. Any startup can connect GPT via API to AI services like DALLE, Sora, MidJourney, etc. These AI tools can generate images, animations, or other visual creative content. The AI tool or its version can change, but GPT stays the language layer, translating human intent into instructions the AI can understand.
Startups like this already exist, but most use brand names that people forget tomorrow. There are hundreds of AI tools - some make motion, some make images, some make short animations, some animate photos. But all they get lost, scattered here and there. AnimationGPT could bring all these tools together in one simple concept - animation created through GPT.
