This is related to .biz registrations. Has anyone heard something about this: On some registrars, you have to submit a support request for them to manually update whois info on recently registered .biz names. I currently just received a .biz push but there is a problem: The Registrant Contact, Administrative Contact, Billing and Tech Contact won't change from the previous owner. The DNS and register lock does change though.

I have emailed the registrar but I am just wondering if this is a common problem or not.

Hey I just did and no luck still shows the previous owners info. The nameservers are correct also the register lock is correct the names and addresses are not correct! And yes this domain name shows up in my account. The support for Moniker still has not gotten back to me either. Person I bought it from said that he has heard of this problem before but it seems nobody here has making me confused lol

I've never heard of that before at Moniker, though I have had it happen to me before at Domain Site.

I suggest giving it another 24 hours. If the problem persists and moniker's
support hasn't contacted you, try contacting user "mcahn" here.

Thanks Davezan, I re-emailed Moniker and will be in contact with mchan shortly if they don't get back to me by tomorrow. Currently the domain has propagated to my servers but is still showing the previous owners info lol.

Problem solved. Update: according to Moniker "there is sometimes a communication issue with Moniker.com and the EPP Registrars (including .BIZ)."
