I don't see any angle in which you could profit. I only see a TM infringement

You summed it up perfectly! You should expect a C&D within the next few weeks.

When you do receive it, do as they ask and give them the domain!

Please I'm new to this industry. Could you please explain what is a C&D ?
and...why should I easily give them the domain if they ask for it?

C&D = Cease and Desist notice.

You should give it to them because they will get it anyway, and there's no reason in stirring their wrath. As I learned even a "typo" can be considered TM infringement. Go figure.

You really are better off just giving it up.

You may not deliberately register a domain name from brands (like: nike.com) or persons (like: JamesHudson.com).
If they want to, they can claim it via law suit FOR FREE! (and they will get it!)

It has more than 1000 unique visits per month. Is is parked at Sedo, and it is earning from Pay Per Click. So far it has already self-payed it's initial price.

And if you put up a fight then you will be liable for court costs.

Their court costs.

Hey,

Unless you are 10 years old, you SHOULD HAVE enough sense to know that you CAN NOT use a registered TRADE NAME (UNLESS YOU OWN IT) in a domain name. Just like Coke, Ford, Wal-Mart, AOL, all these names are protected and you my friend CAN NOT SELL THIS EITHER! PERIOD!

I personally would just forget about the name and let it come off reservation. Or, contact them and tell them that you registered it and ask them what they want you to do with it.

Use your better judgement when you reserve domain names!!!!

Yes, perhaps I should have a better sense when reserving domain names, and perhaps you should have a better sense of respect when you post in this forum. I'm not your friend and that's why you should use enough judgement and measure the tone of your answers. Next time try not to answer like a 10 year old and have some education when teaching your knowledge.

By the way, for all of you who said the price would be zero, let me tell you I have already received Private Messages with offers from Trademark Domain Specialists.

Looks like you still own it...

Yes, I still own it. I didn't receive any C&D notice yet, and I don't think it will come anytime soon. But the thing is, this domain has boosted its PPC earnings lately. More than 100 Euros for last month alone. So...I don't think I'll be selling it for now, but I won't be closed to any offers too.

Regards.

I would keep it parked for a while, maybe until that C&D letter does arrive, then simply hand it over to them. You seem to have made far over what you paid for the name back already, so I wouldn't risk losing that trying to defend yourself.
