Google’s Domain Buying Spree Continues With ABCAlphabet.com & Alphabet.kr

Google Inc. continues it’s onslaught of buying and registering domain names relating to its announcement on August 10, 2015 of it’s new holding company, Alphabet Inc.

Google has continued to use domain name brand protection service MarkMonitor to help in acquiring and registering relating domain names. Potentially upwards of a hundred + domain names have been purchased or registered by Mark Monitor/Google relating to ABC and Alphabet.

• Alphabet.xyz - $3,800
• ABC.Global - about $4,500
• ABC.Club
• ABC.mx - $17,700
• ABC.cm

Alphabet.kr was acquired at Sedo and MarkMonitor is in whois records for that domain. Very likely Google is the buyer. Alphabet.kr sold for $1,100 usd at Sedo.

I am so surprised that Google is buying up domain names AFTER they made the announcement for Alphabet Inc.

Doesn't seem organized or they had to make moves quickly on their name it seems.

"Smart" guys are already buying all available extensions :D
Just checked my local extension and Alphabet was registered on 11 August by a guy from Singapore with a gmail account.

Do not expect alphabet in every extension to be worth anything, there are far too many extensions now for a company to bother regging them all. Most new gtlds are pointless.
