Google, submission or crawled?

Hey guys,, just wondering, wats quiker, getting google bot to crawl ur site, or submitting it, and either way how much fast/slower is it?

A submission to google could take weeks.
Easiest and quickest way is to get a link on a high PR site.
This will normally get your site in google in 24-96 hours....

Another way is to download and install the google toolbar, then with the toolbar on, surf on to your website. This should catch the attention of google.

Oops, forgot about the toolbar...
It should also tell google that your site exists.

But tests and experiences tells that a good old high PR link still is the best..
And it will give you a nice PR boost as well.

When/if I make a new site I always link to it from the front page of one of my high PR sites (PR 7).
And the new site usually appears in google in 1 to 2 days..

The best way is to offer something no other site offers that will help goggles web surfers (searchers), More searchers means google can charge more for their ads.

Backlinking is highly over rated and depends on a lot of factors.

Example if your site gives away something the others sells, infomation or whatever, the odds are you'll be at the top. Be creative.

An submit by hand. Get ranked high in the other search engines also (Google's competitors), Google isn't going to let yahoo take customers because it's sending it's surfers your great tutorial on guppy racing and their customers can't find it.
(If the engine asks leave real info, phone number real address, etc.)
Don't spam them it may allow more than one page a day, but do one page a day.

"Sand box effect" That toolbar is tracking user behaviour on the target site, which is essentially a background voting mechanism. Your site had better be what the user was looking for.
