i'm thinking of perhaps sticking with windows... it's just that google cube probably has tons of errors and bugs, and it'll be a while before I switch over. Also i just got so accustomed to windows... and everyone uses it anyway

Surely as MS have an entire company working on windows, and google only have the people doing it in their extra curricular time, MS will still be leading for a while unfortunately

A Google PC is lame. I might get one for novelty purposes only, but I am getting sick and tired of all the lame new products of Google Inc.

there was a small article in The Sun here in the UK today regarding this. Asda claim they will be trying their best on getting them (they are owned by wallmart and it them who have a deal with google).

Not sure where they got the figure from but they are quoting £115.

rather... it's a huge bubble waiting to burst or reduce in size...... 99% of it's revenue comes from one source only..., take microsoft or yahoo or any other big company that has been successful for several years: all of them have revenues coming from multiple sources.

This is precisely the reason why Google is frantically releasing any number of beta products and services unrelated to search these days ... they know that in the long run, they will HAVE TO diversify.

Luc i wouldn't be surprised if it is more of a case that they have the plans to do so BUT didn't want it publicised yet. The less the likes of Microsoft know of such a project the better as it is another market that they will be competing
